Most of our customers pay via Direct Debit and we review those payments throughout the year to match their usage

However, you can also make card payments directly via your online account.

Why Should You Make One-Off Payments?

One-off payments are useful when you've seen your bills increased due to a temporary event (like using your appliances a lot more for a short period of time). If that happens, your next bill will be higher, and, depending on your account balance, we may have to increase your monthly Direct Debit payments to reflect this.

If you'd prefer your monthly payments to not increase as much, you can make a one-off card payment through your online account.

Card payments are a way of supplementing your regular Direct Debit payments, not a replacement for them. If your account is in debit, a card payment would have to clear the entire balance by the date mentioned on your bill in order to avoid the debit impacting your credit rating.

If you're looking to pay a final bill which is in debit, you won't need to make a card payment if your Direct Debit is also active. We'll use the Direct Debit to withdraw the full amount required for the final bill.

How Can You Make a One-Off Card Payment?

Click here to login to your online account, it will take you directly to the Payment section. From there you can click on Card Payment and input your card details for payment. We accept most major credit and debit card providers. We do not accept American Express.

Once a payment has cleared, it may take 24 hours (or until the next working day, whichever is longer) for it to reflect on your online account.
