INTRODUCING SO REWARDING MOMENTS

As part of the ESO Demand Flexibility Service, So Rewarding gives you the opportunity to participate in energy-saving challenges we’re calling So Rewarding Moments. You'll be able to win fantastic prizes like free electricity for a year! Scroll down to learn more.

The more you save, the more we'll reward.

You're part of an energy saving team, and during each event, the total volume of energy saved by all participants will add up and unlock prize tiers shown on our super So Energy battery.

Your individual savings will earn tickets for each 0.1kWh you reduce your normal demand. These tickets will be entered into each prize draw so the more you save, the more tickets you earn and the better chance you have of winning a prize.

For example, it takes about 0.2kWh of energy to boil a kettle which equates to 2 tickets. But it’s not just about avoiding that extra cuppa, your typical oven will use 1 – 2 kWh so moving your dinner outside of a So Rewarding Moment can really help us to unlock those prize levels.

We believe in helping our customers lower their carbon footprint and rewarding them for taking part in that journey

So Rewarding gives you the chance to get paid and win prizes for shifting your usage to off-peak times and taking the strain off the energy grid. We’ll tell you in advance when a So Rewarding Moment is coming up, and it’s up to you how much energy you decide to not use in that time.

How it works

Signup and then opt-in to a So Rewarding Moment so you can take part and start saving.
We'll email you to tell you about a So Rewarding Moment. We’ll ideally do this the day before the So Rewarding Moment.
Once a So Rewarding moment is finished, we’ll use your readings to work out how much you’ve saved.
Once everyone taking part has saved enough, each tier will unlock. Winners will be announced after a prize draw.

About a day before we'll email you with a So Rewarding Moment, and you can opt in. As well as saving on your energy bills you'll be entered into a prize draw if you've earned tickets. The more energy you save, the better and bigger we'll make the prizes. From vouchers, to free electricity for a year, and even a solar panel installation- there's exciting prizes up for grabs.
