A Bronze Award for So Energy's Customer Contact Team

So Energy's Change of Tenancy specialist team has been awarded Bronze in this year’s prestigious national awards.

We’re delighted to share that one of our dedicated and specialist customer care teams has been awarded Bronze in the UK National Contact Centre Awards Specialist Team of the Year, 2025.

Congratulations to our Change of Tenancy and Bereavement team for their dedication in delivering outstanding service to some of our more vulnerable customers.

Excellent customer care is at the heart of what we do at So Energy, and we know that certain times in life call for specialist help. Moving house can be stressful, and coping with a bereavement can be difficult. We believe that, as your energy supplier, we can ease the load. So, in 2023, we set about recruiting a specific team to offer compassionate and efficient support for customers during challenging times in their lives.

Within a year, the full Change of Tenancy team went live. Since then, we’ve offered outstanding specialist support to customers seeking assistance with a bereavement and a change of tenancy.

How our Change of Tenancy (and Bereavement) team can support you

Providing compassionate and efficient support, our trained Change of Tenancy and Bereavement team can help by:

  • Managing move-ins and move-outs over the phone
  • Promptly issuing change-of-tenancy final bills
  • Providing support for bereavement queries via multiple contact platforms

We’re proud that this service has now been nationally recognised by industry experts, though they’re not the only ones who’ve noticed. Fully 80% of customers are satisfied with the service we provide, and that’s partly down to our flexible, seamless and empathetic approach.

We’re committed to driving positive change in the industry and continuing to set new standards, no matter what our customers are facing.
